We don’t necessarily realize, but we’re surrounded by waves of radioactive radiation 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Our wireless devices: laptops, cellphones, tablets, wifi, routers, bluetooth, etc. all use radioactive frequencies and emit electromagnetic radiation EMR a.k.a. “electrosmog”. I first heard this term through a series of audio tapes that that talked about energy, our vibrations and the law of attraction. I had that ‘light bulb moment’ when they spoke about the fact that we Can and should neutralize our electronic devices to protect ourselves from EMR.

Brief overview of your background in wellness/conscious lifestyle living.
My background in wellness includes studying and practising as a meditation guide and yoga instructor through the Naturality Path in Toronto and Nada Yoga school in Rishikesh, India. I lead guided group meditations, teach hatha and aerial yoga in Toronto. I also completed a life coaching course through The Centre of Applied Neuroscience in Toronto. To live consciously is to be happy. At least that’s how I felt after interviewing Self-Care Teacher and yoga guru Gillian B. She has all the credentials, an applied human nutrition degree from the University of Guelph and a yoga teacher tenure stretching 8 years. But it wasn’t always this rosy for Gillian.
“I am proud to say that I have healed drug addiction, eating disorders, paralyzing anxiety, burnout and numerous food allergies – all of which were the direct result of inner misalignments and an untamed, unchecked mind,” she says.

Cannabis is one of the most commonly-used herbs around the world. Despite deep roots in Jamaican culture, dating back to the 1920s, ganja was only legalized by the Ministry of Jamaica in 2015. For the first time in decades, Jamaicans can now use the herb for personal, medicinal and religious uses. For those that embrace a Rastafari lifestyle, this recent legislation although strongly enforced, was a progressive step toward the acceptance of marijuana use.
